ARC Service · Silicon Valley
Local digital marketing services for Silicon Valley businesses.
Local SEO, Google Ads and your Google Business Profile, run as one program for service businesses in San Jose, Campbell, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Palo Alto and the rest of the valley.
Why this matters
In a crowded local market, the map, the ads and the organic results each get a turn before your website does.
When a Silicon Valley customer searches for a service, Google usually answers with three things stacked on top of each other: paid ads, a map of nearby businesses, and then the organic results. When we checked sixteen local agency searches from San Jose in September 2026, twelve of them showed a map before a single website link.
Each of those places is won differently. Ads are won with budget, relevance and conversion data. The map is won with your Business Profile, your reviews and how close you are. The organic results are won with pages that genuinely answer the search. Most local businesses hire for one of them and wonder why the other two keep sending customers to competitors.
Local digital marketing means running all three against the same goal, with the same tracking, so every dollar and every page is judged by the calls and bookings it produces.
What the program covers
Our local digital marketing services
Local SEO
Your service and location pages, on-page signals and local content, built so Google can see exactly what you do and where you do it. The foundation that keeps working when ad budgets pause. More on local SEO.
Google Ads for local demand
Search campaigns targeted to the cities you actually serve, with conversion tracking fixed before budgets move. Ads put you in front of buyers today while organic rankings are still being earned. More on Google Ads management.
Google Business Profile and reviews
Categories, services, hours, photos and posts treated as a storefront, not admin. A steady review process, because the map ranks and converts on recent reviews.
Pages for the places you serve
San Jose is not Palo Alto. Where a city deserves its own page, it gets one with something true only of that place, not a copy with the town name swapped.
Call and booking tracking
Calls, forms and bookings measured by source, so you can see which searches, campaigns and pages produce customers. More on analytics and attribution.
One program, not two vendors
Why SEO and Google Ads work better run together
Ads show SEO where the money is. Search-term reports reveal the exact phrases local customers use before they call. Those phrases decide which pages get built and improved first.
SEO lowers what ads have to carry. As pages and the Business Profile start ranking for a search, ad spend on that search can come down and move to the terms that are still being won.
One set of numbers. Both channels report into the same call and booking tracking, so budget decisions come from customers won, not from each vendor’s own report.

- On-page local SEO
- Google Ads search campaigns by service area
- Negative keyword and search-term governance

Not every business needs every channel on day one. The engagement starts by finding what is actually limiting local growth, then puts effort there first.
Common questions
Questions we are asked before starting
How much do local digital marketing services cost?
ARC’s managed programs run from $500 to $2,000 a month, depending on what the business needs. Your Google Ads spend is separate from that fee, and the scope is agreed after we understand the business and what is limiting growth.
Should we start with SEO or Google Ads?
Usually both, weighted differently. Ads can bring in enquiries soon after launch once tracking is right, while local SEO builds over months. Starting with ads also produces the search-term data that tells SEO what to build first.
Do we need an office in each city to show up there?
No, but proximity matters to the map. Service-area businesses can hide their address and still appear, and city pages and ads can reach customers beyond the map’s natural radius.
Do you only work with Silicon Valley businesses?
No. ARC works with service businesses across the United States. This page describes how we run local programs for businesses in and around San Jose.
